Controller and contact

Individual venues may provide additional information for activities they manage directly.

Data we collect

We process technical browsing data (such as IP address, device, requested pages and security logs); information you provide for bookings, purchases and support (name, contact details, venue, adventure, date, participants and billing details when needed); messages exchanged with E.V.A. on the website or WhatsApp; and information supplied for Quizzy or promotional messages when you sign up. The payment provider handles online card details; we do not store the full card number in our systems.

Please do not send sensitive information in chats or forms unless it is essential to your request.

Purposes and legal bases

We use data to answer requests and manage bookings, purchases, gifts, support and Quizzy: performance of a contract or steps you request before entering one (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We process data needed for invoices, accounting and other legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). We protect the website, prevent abuse and handle disputes on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against your rights.

Invitations, newsletters and promotional messages are sent according to the consent obtained for the relevant channel. You may withdraw it at any time. Non-essential measurement and advertising tools require consent where applicable (Article 6(1)(a) and cookie rules). Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

E.V.A., WhatsApp and confirmations

When you contact E.V.A., your conversation and the information needed for your request may be processed by artificial intelligence services to generate replies and, if you ask, help with a booking. E.V.A. is a digital assistant; you can always email us to speak to a person.

If you provide a phone number for a booking, we may use WhatsApp for service messages, including attendance confirmations or booking management where the service is active at the venue. These messages are separate from promotions.

Recipients and international transfers

Authorized staff and providers necessary to deliver the services may access data: hosting and maintenance, payments, email, WhatsApp/Meta, artificial intelligence, traffic analysis and advertising, according to the purpose and your choices. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on GDPR mechanisms such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Ask amministrazione@metaexperiences.it for details of applicable safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep data for as long as needed for its purpose. Booking and purchase records remain for service delivery and accounting or tax obligations; conversations and logs remain while needed for support, security and disputes; promotional data remain until consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested, subject to legal duties. The precise period varies with the data type, legal duties and any dispute. You may ask which criterion applies to you.

Required information and children

Fields marked as required are needed to complete your request. Without them, we may be unable to book, sell a gift or answer. Promotional data and optional cookies remain your choice. If a booking concerns children, the responsible adult should provide only information needed for the experience.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent free of charge. Email amministrazione@metaexperiences.it; we may request only what is necessary to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
